Why does Judaism have such a long and stringent conversion process?

Judaism, the long and rigorous process of transformation of all religions. Only Orthodox conversions are considered valid for each branch and then have not all considered valid for immigration authorities in Israel, if we want to convert. It is a long and slow process and you constantly prove that you are sincere. Other religions make it incredibly easy to convert the opposition. Why is it that Judaism as more stringent requirements in terms of implementation has? Why should it take to convert two, three or four years or more?

If Russia had chosen Judaism instead of Greek Orthodox, how might the medieval period have been different?

If Russia had chosen the Jews instead of the Greek Orthodox Church, how the medieval period were different in England and France or another European country? I’m writing a paper on this topic for my history class and I am a bit lost. Can someone help me please?
